Frequently asked questions
The project was initiated by Tobias Brunner aka tobru, a frequent camper since many years.
The idea was born out of a personal need while traveling.
It's currently in it's early days to gathering interest and better shape the idea, to eventually make it real.
Some features might be free, some will occur costs. All details are still being discovered.
Potentially one day Nomindo will become Open Source. Probably once it gained federation support, so that travels can be shared over instances.
In Switzerland or the EU.
There are multiple services covering parts of Nomindo out there, but not a complete solution like Nomindo aims to become.
It's a word-game and consists of "Nomad" and "Mondo".
