With the March update, the campsite management has been completely revised and significantly improved.
Find Campsites on the Map
All campsites from OpenStreetMap are now directly available in Nomindo, currently over 180,000! The database is synchronized with OpenStreetMap data every night.
Thanks to this direct availability, manual addition of campsites is no longer necessary and the map display is much faster.
Simply zoom in or search for a location and available campsites will appear automatically.

Campsite Details
All data recorded in OpenStreetMap is clearly displayed in the detail view. Missing information should be updated directly in OpenStreetMap. Thanks to automatic data synchronization, updated data will be available in Nomindo no later than one day after changes.

Tip: Click on “OSM TAGS” to see all tags, which may contain additional information. Unfortunately, tags in OpenStreetMap are not precisely defined, so you’ll find varying data quality there.
Record a New Campsite
If a campsite is missing on OpenStreetMap and cannot or should not be recorded there, it’s now possible to add a campsite directly in Nomindo. This can be assigned to a travel group, making it visible only to them. This is useful, for example, when dealing with a private site that is not publicly accessible.

Add Campsite to Your Trip
Previously, campsites had to be searched in a cumbersome list to add them to a trip. Now it works easily via an interactive map: Zoom in or search, click on the desired campsite, and add it with a click on the blue button, done.

Tip: Use the blue (+) button to add a new campsite to Nomindo.
Plan Activities During Trips
Now you can plan your activities during the trip. Many details can be recorded to ensure nothing is forgotten and everything is available in one place.

Upcoming Features
Next, we plan to develop the travel diary as the first trips will take place soon (spring is approaching). What would you like to see in the travel diary?
Check the Roadmap to see what else is planned.
